On Friday May 15, 2009 the Waialua Robotics Team had their fourth quarterly blood drive. Once again it was held in the WHIS gymnasium alongside the work of Blood Bank of Hawaii. This quarter the recruitment committee worked hard to get enough people to donate blood and again they were able to get more people signed up than last quarter. There was an estimate of 60 people who came to donate blood which included seniors and faculty at Waialua High and Intermediate School. Again there were refreshments available for the donors before and after donating blood which was donated by others to help support the blood drive. The National Honor Society, whom of which worked with the team to make our quarterly blood drives possible, and the Waialua Robotics team would like the thank the Blood Bank of Hawaii for participating in this blood drive with us and all those who came and donated blood.
