On September 26, 2009 the Waialua Robotics team attended the annual Dole Family Fun Day event that took place at Dole Plantation. To continue the proud partnership that Team 359 has with Castle & Cooke/Dole Plantation, we showed our gracious professionalism while we sold drinks to the Dole Family Fun Day attendees and managed games for the keiki (children). Some team members even dressed up as characters such as Stitch, Hello Kitty, Elmo, and Pineapple Pete to entertain all the keiki. Overall, the event was quite successful, and the Hawaiian Kids definitely enjoyed their time spent assisting Castle & Cooke/Dole Plantation with their event.
