On November 19, 2011, Team 359 donated a Saturday to hosting a Sustainability Workshop for rookie teams throughout the state. Representatives from Saint Louis School and Island Pacific Academy were treated to a tour of our robotics facilities and shown a presentation on how to run a successful robotics program.

Upon arrival, our team coordinator, Mr. Glenn Lee, gave a short presentation on our program and gave management tips. Following the presentation, guests were given a tour of the auto shop, graphics room, practice room, storage area, and main classroom. At each facility select team members gave presentations and took questions. The workshop concluded as everyone got a chance to mingle and enjoy refreshments, while getting answers and suggestions to questions and concerns they had. The event was fun for all involved and The Hawaiian Kids were honored to have the chance to educate and inspire new FRC teams in Hawaii.
