By coming up with a decisive strategy, they were able to get their highest score in the competition! The versatility of both teams' robot designs allowed them to adapt their strategies effectively, ensuring they consistently performed well. Spectators watched with bated breath, captivated by the thrilling display of robotics expertise.
ALLIANCE SELECTION
Our students had the honor of meeting and talking with many teams and people from around the world. At some points, they had to overcome some language barriers, like with a Mandarin-speaking team, but they overcame them through the shared love of VEX and won their match while making new friends along the way!
ARRIVAL AND PREPARATION
On May 19th, 2025, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas buzzed with excitement as Teams 3590A and 3590C arrived for the 2025 VEX VRC Middle School World Championship! Out of over 20,000 teams, only 483 competed! The teams quickly settled in and had their robots inspected, getting ready to face the competition with determination and teamwork. Both teams spent time strategizing and brainstorming ideas to perform their best in the matches ahead.
TEAM COLLABORATIONS
At the end of the qualification matches, Team 3590A ranked 29th out of 81 teams with a record of 6-4-0, while Team 3590C ranked 32nd out of 80 teams with a record of 6-4-0. Team 3590A was chosen by Team 36500X, The Duggets, to join the 7th Seed Alliance. Unfortunately, Team 3590C was not selected for an alliance and was eliminated. 3590A moved on to the Elimination Matches, where they were sadly beaten in the Round of 16 in a tough match. Their performance left a lasting impression on the audience and fellow competitors alike.
